- University of Missouri objects to joining state employee health care plan A daily turn about a proposal to merge UM System health care plans with the state’s.
- Sseko sandals provide Ugandan women opportunity for education Pitched and wrote this explanatory narrative about a woman who wanted to aid high school grads through giving them a temporary job to earn money for college.
- Westminster College vandalism suspect arrested A daily turn about a man arrested for spraying graffiti on church over three centuries old and a sculpture made of pieces of the Berlin Wall.
- CEDAR RAPIDS MISSION: Students spend 3 days assisting with Iowa flood relief I reported this story while volunteering with flood relief in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and wrote it the day after we returned to Columbia, Mo.
- Amendment meant to cut Ellis Fischel funding shot down by House I wrote this story for Missouri Digital News and it was published by the Missourian. It was a story I found while covering the House on Monday afternoon and wrote it that evening.
- Downturn, what downturn? Fair shows lap of luxury A daily turn story about a conference devoted to the most lavish items even while the 2008 financial crisis continued to unfold.
- Readers overwhelm EU’s new digital library A daily turn about a very popular digital archive of European culture.
- A full house A profile about a man who had over a hundred foster children living with him at varying times, even before he was ever married.
- The price of dreams A column I wrote about why I want to be an international journalist.
